Help Me / Bounty Hunter
« on: March 21, 2012, 01:00:27 PM »
Running a bounty Hunter with 1 rebuy to include another Bounty Chip. Available for 3 rounds and a break.
Player busts out, does a rebuy and automatically gets a new bounty chip.
However  during the break, those who have not had a rebuy are allowed to have a rebuy. Obviously they cant have another bounty chip as they are still in and already have one.
I know that if 1 rebuy  a single  player during the break, when i do a rebuy. I can do it manually and  adjust the cost of the buy in by removing the bounty chips and cost from the buy in page .
Doing it like this so it doesn't affect the number of bounties and the prize so that both the  bounties and main game prizes are correctl. And that right number of bounties and rebuys are shown.
Is there any way of setting this up automatically.

Thanks in advance

So if i make a Sound Event & Display, is there anyway of setting the  conditions like (using the example above)
( when  the number of players are down to 16 fire the event). or are you only able to do this within a cell (condtions).

Templates, Layouts and Sounds / Displaying a message on Hand to Hand
« on: March 15, 2012, 08:45:09 AM »
Is there anyway to display a ( multiple)  message for when the tournament reaches Hand for Hand and is on the money  bubble.

For instance 16 players left and only 15 get paid. Hand for hand announcement displays and then when the bubble is bust,  to announce hand for hand is over.
Plus Secondary Announcement
Then (as positions 11 - 15 get the same prizes money)to display another hand for hand announcement. When there is another bubble (when the prize money increases for position 10) and again another announcement to display that  Hand for Hand is over.

Could this be done on one message or would this have to be done a 2 separate messages.

Plus could this be tied up to include voice announcements of hand for hand etc

Haven't done any messages before. where's the best way to start?

Thx in advance

Chips tab, click New Chip, click Browse, or right click each chip & edit to your chip.  PS  gifs pic are better to use no background.

Thanks for the response but I still have the problem how to make a digital copy of the chips...
Should I just make a picture with a digicam or what is the best way?

If they are standard chips google fpr pictures. If they are customised- Scan them in. The size should be 75 75

I'm glad we've sorted v2 out - I think TD(v2) is a great program but v3...
I'll have too disagree on v3, I love it, Layouts, click & drag cells, export cells & screens from different layouts,(sweet) & set better cells & token conditions, & THE DASH BOARD and on & on ( What your missing I'm enjoying ) but too each is his own i guess.

Have to agree with Timmer. V3 much, much better. A great piece of work by Corey.  A lot easier to use. Would be a shame to give up on it Jolly.

Nope, not possible, but that's another big item on my "to-do" list that I hope to achieve in 2012.  (Not to necessarily allow <tokens> on the built-in screens, but to have a built-in control panel that can displayed on any screen.)

OK Thank you.  A built-in control panel sounds like a good idea
I think that list will be never ending, lol  Good luck

Templates, Layouts and Sounds / Controls on fixed screens

I wanted to put the controls (buttons) on to the fixed screens ie, Ranking, Tables, Movement,Rounds etc.
I had thought that I would be able to copy and paste the contents of the controls cell into the footer section that is on the page properties.
It didn't work.
Would like to know if this is possible and would i be able to do it like this. If not, is there a way to put the buttons on the screens?

Help Me / Re: error

I already have a few with Antonio on my facebook page. I took one with Phil yesterday. These guys are great guys! Real gentlemen (however Antonio flipped me off today!) There was a last longer side bet between Phil and Antonio. The first one to be busted gets dunked in a pool of water outside. Here in Montreal, winter is pretty cold. Antonio lost and will be dunked tomorrow. It will be filmed and pics will be available. I'll post a few links once everything is ready.
Antonio, who plays 300-600 is now sitting on a 1-2 table having a blast with our lower limit players!
Now that will be worth seeing

I found out the hard way that the <video> tag does not work on IE9 and W7 64-bit. I did also get the script error too and the only way I was able to exit from TD was by CTRL-ALT-DEL and killing the mshta.exe.
Thankfully this laptop was not running my tournament. I had it only showing the feed.
We have 2 special guests in our house tonight  Phill Laak and Antonio Esfandiari. These guys are solid on the tables.
You must of got some photos of you with Laak and Esfandari. Post them up Jody

On this link there are some correlated sound event files. These are set up correctly
To change a sound just go into the sound you want to alter  and choose a new sound that you want. Make sure that the sounds are in the correct folder.

Magic without the pic in the second screen it does show a white screen

I looked to at the background screen to see if I was missing the pic, but i didn't see a link to a pic... Again, something on my end :)

The screen is a black one with the four suits in the middle of the screen

Nice to see your getting the hang of things Mahound, I see you used that marquee looks good i use it on the buy-ins on one page and bust-out on another.  Magic without the pic in the second screen it does show a white screen
Cheers Timmer.

I feel like a young boy who is trying to learn how to ride a bike. I think I am at the stage where i have just removed the stabilisers. Still wobbling and still looking to find the softest place to fall down.

I spend a lot of time on here and I ask a lot of questions but I  don't answers a lot  posts  ( I do'nt think i have the necessary experience) But i read a lot of the answers.  I try lots of the ideas and suggestions made on here. And do" what if's" with them.

But I think i am slowly getting there. I learnt more by doing this exercise than i have done in the last year, beginning to work out how things work and what can be done.

Like I said its all down to the awesome support and help from the forum,  especially from you.
Thanks
