IMO a good suggestion.

As an addition to this  would it be possible (on the tables tab)  to enter names with a specific colour.  Team A would be red. team b would be blue and so on.
This would be handy for team games. It would make it easier to see at a glance what teams are on what tables, and as the numbers reduce would aid in keeping team members on separate tables.

Interesting thought.  Do team members span multiple tournaments?  Or is this just something you'd want to do at a tournament level?

Would be at a tournament Level. Team Games are usually one off games comprised of the same players with a few changes if people cant make the game

So say you did an event for 50 positions. But only had 35 entrants what would happen then?
 Would it recognise that the starting numbers were below  the 50 events that you had made and adjust accordingly?

On the rules tab, whats the difference between using text and HTML?
 At the moment the rules that i use are Typed in by me. where if i want to format it, I have to manually insert the breaks, put in marquee's font size's,  announcements  etc.
This can be time consuming especially when there are any updates to any information to do, or if i wanted to insert the information for another league.

 I was wondering if it would be better to put the information  in as HTML, Am i right in thinking that this means  i could update any info in word, save it as an HTML doc and then import it.
If it is it would mean that i could update any info without the need of going into the TD software.

Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions

If the points for 1st to 8th replace the 10 for playing, then you'll want to switch the 100 to a 90, 80 to 70, etc. If they are in addition to the 10 for playing, then whirlers would have it right.
Yup Sorry about that, Whirlers! Magic is correct you will need to change the figure in the switch to what magic suggests

Is it possible (and ofcourse easy) to give a max cap on rebuys & add-ons. In other words, a setting where it is stated that the maximum of rebuy OR add-on is (for instance) 1. So, in that case, if someone has done a rebuy, the software automatically makes him/her ineligible for a add-on. It would make the play faster, since tourney directors won't need to change settings on the fly.

Sounds like a good idea.
Would this be possible to do Corey.
 Make it so that, If there is an option in a game of taking 1 rebuy OR 1 add on. The software would recognise what has happend. 
So if the option in the game was 1 rebuy/OR/ 1 Add on 
so that if a players takes an rebuy,  they wouldn't be allowed to add on.

Game tab ( Rebuys ( check the ( Allow players still in the tournament to rebuy ) set ( Maximum rebuys per player ) and hotkey V to rebuy, put a check in ( Hide ineligible players,  this will rebuy without buying a new bounty chip i believe.

I have been tryin to set up an event.
To display a message and play a sound for when the game gets hand for hand.
But i dont know what to put into the conditions box.

Went in  to the edit events and used the tournament settings and in the players left box i put 11.  

So it would be 9 players get paid. 11 players in, 1 gets eliminated 10 left. The 10th person who is eliminated will get the bubble. This is when i want the event to trigger the event

It didn't work.
In the conditions box. What would i have to put?  ie A player busts (then what, i am completely stumped)
How can i get it to say if a players busts out one before the money bubble, (leaving 10 players and only 9 prizes) > trigger event

Tried to get this to work using the examples in the Timmers TD Kit events.tst, but unable to figure it out

any help or advice greatly appreciated

To be honest, Never thought of it like that. Technically its not an add on. An Add on would be available to all players, and would only be available during the break.  But this way  anyone who has lost their initial chips and has re-bought (before the break), cannot do another re-buy/add on. The point is to give everyone a chance to make the re-buy. And like i said any one who takes a re-buy during the break, wouldn't need the bounty.  
If i do it as an add on, how could i stop the players who had taken a re-buy from doing another "add on". There doesn't seem a way to restrict the re-buy in the break, to only those who haven't taken an earlier rebuy.
I don't want to screw up the number of bounties and that is why i wanted to see if anyone has a way to automate the way the second re-buys are done, ie. enable the eligible players to re-buy with out taking the bounty.

Hope this is a bit of a better explanation, I don't think i am expressing this very well.

Or is there a way to make this an add on, but restrict the add ons to only those players who have NOT taken a rebuy
