My club currently runs 7 different tournaments, all with their own blind structure and buy-ins. Could it be possible in a future release to allow a shortcut from the desktop to open up a specific tournament and not the default tournament?

Sure there is, seen a post on here about it recently.

dont think so it seem all programs open to a main page (((( D E F A L T P A G E ))) then u go from there but hay i might be wrong ???

You can change the default file though.
So you can select a set up that you make to use as your default pages.

I dont want to change the default tourney. I would like to have shortcuts to the different tournaments on my desktop and those shortcuts open up the respective tournaments. All shortcuts currently open up the default tourney.

At the moment you can only speficy a single structure to load. I just tried having a tourney structure load directly from the desktop, but TD did not load the requested tourney, instead ran the default tournament. The easiest thing you can do is make templates for all your templates and load them when td loads, but you would need to remember to SAVE AS before using them.

There is an item on the to-do list to associate .tdt files with the TD, and thus start the TD by double-clicking a saved tournament file, and having the app start with that file already open.

It's already implemented in the next version. You can try it out in the beta test (I will release it very soon, I promise!). See the Beta Testing forums if you're interested.
