Headhunter tournament
« on: September 28, 2007, 12:13:43 PM »
Hi

Anybody here tried the Headhunter tournament that are hosted on the Cryptologic sites ( ex. Interpoker, Pokerplex )? Half of the buyin goes in a prizepool, the other half goes on the players head. Every time you make a hit you recieve 75% of the reward on the players head and the last 25% goes on your head.
I'm really missing this feature in TD, would it be possible to add this feature in TD?

I've tried it on DTD - really enjoyed it!

Was looking for the same answer as you....

Hence...

BUMP!

Can you do it with bounty chips? anyone else tried it?

Cheers

You could do this with player bounties, minus the 25% going on your head.

Sounds like in those tournaments, a player's bounty increases as they take out other players.  This isn't currently possible with the software, but sounds like an interesting future addition...  maybe.

It would be a nice feature for a future release
I played in one online last night with 586 runners - I finished 29th and didn't take a single head!!!!

I had a look at tracking it on a spread sheet yesterday.......Might be easier with a pen and paper!

I really like these kind of tournaments... I play them on PKR.com and they are called Terminator tournaments.

Hi I have been looking to do this type of tourney but as we know to date its not possible with TD, so I have created one in excel and i have attached it, feel free to adapt it for your own purposes it is based on a tourney upto 10 players, you will still need the TD software for blinds and timings etc.

Have only tested a couple of times in mock tournies so any feedback appreciated.
