Moving to another table
« on: March 09, 2007, 09:51:19 AM »
Hi, I played in a tournament run by your software. With 2 tables left (16 players) as I folded my big blind on one table I was moved to the big blind on the other table. This is contrary to TDA rules. Are there any buttons the TD should be pressing to alleviate this problem?

You can do any number of things.

Don't accept the TD's movement suggestion and move players yourself.

Don't accept the TD's initial movement suggestion.  Have it make another suggestion.

Move the player(s) currently in the BB and SB to appropriate positions and then let the software suggest how to move the remaining players.

Or, on the Tables tab, set the dealer buttons, then have the TD suggest movement.  It will do its best to move players with respect to the buttons.

Corey, thanks for the reply.
I think the second point seems the most logical. If the organiser used the first suggestion, to move the BB manually to the spare seat furthest from the button, how would he do this on the pc?

"Drag and drop"

On the Tables tab, just click and hold the mouse button on a player, drag him to a new location, and drop him.
