remote control

Is there a 3rd party laptop remote control that will work with TD? There are various remotes for some laptop apps like presentations, dvd, windows media player, etc. and I was wondering if any of these are compatible with TD. Thanks!

This is what I use... it's a program you load on your computer and then you can open the app on your phone and control your computer over an internet/ad-hoc network. I have it on my iphone and its a free app and a free download from the website for your computer as long as it's for personnel use.

I was not able to select a player to bust out. I was able to type 'x' and call up the dialog but was unsuccessful at using the MOUSE to select a player to bust out. What is the trick to doing this with the mobile app???

Hmm not really sure... I have ran a whole test game from my phone while I was at my kids karate practice and my computer was at home. Are you using the above program that I posted earlier?

I was testing teamviewer 6 (just downloaded it). I use it on my PC to troubleshoot and help my wife on her pc while I'm away.

On my Android phone, the app worked great EXCEPT that I was not able to select players to bust out via a mouse click. There may be something I'm not grokking...or maybe mouse simply does not work well on my android running teamviewer.

I've found an solution that works great for me.
After some work i managed to get a remotecontrol to work for my android phone and google nexus 7.

It works using OpenRemote http://www.openremote.com/ and
MCE Controller http://www.kindel.com/products/mcecontroller/

Nexus 7 image here https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B3J2BTdPMgqeRmFORkxPcjlNUnM

GalaxyS2 image here https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B3J2BTdPMgqeTTk2Q3c3UTVvNVU

Openremote seems to work for IOS to.

So after the setup i now can remote manage most of the actions during the tournament.

The bustout and rebuy can be a bit hard to manage if many players, because you have to use TAB to navigate. but on an android device it's not hard to multitask to a remote touchpad app and then back again.
