Hi jhsley, I havent come across any layouts other tyanmy own that use swfs in the layout. I have two layoutson my personal webpage that need swfs to get the full effect. The one I am most proud of is my Christmas layout that uses flash for the entire background. And my NHL uses swf just to update playoff progress. The layouts I use at work all use swfs, but for info pjrposes only.

I modify animations during the tournaments at the bosses request. Often to modify our Bad Beat Jackpot amount. Very often additional ads are requested during a session. Unfortunately, my boss will not allow anybody to access any of our computers from outside (remote/ftp/vnc/vpn), otherwise I would store the swf files locally and there wouldn't be a problem.
We do own 2 copies of TD2 installed on different laptops, and use the same layouts, including swf's. The swfs were on a network drive to allow both laptops access the same ads. When I updated swfs, they would not update on my screens unless I restarted TD. I have cut down my hours and decided to store the swf files on my web server. The layouts reference a url ( embed src="http://www.jodystacey.com/logos.swf" ) . Naturally, any updates are seen through any web browser.
Do I tell my boss that ads are only effective on the next tournament?

Most of my layouts have flash animations embedded in them. When the .swf file is local, TD2 will update any changes I make to the swf file during the tournament when I press F2 (or when my screens rotate). However, when the swf files are on a network drive (or in the case of my last layout located on the internet), the swf animations will not update. They update only if TD2 is shut down and restarted.
F2, loading a different layout and coming back to the original, removing the cell then putting it back in do not update the animation.
Unfortunately, I need to store the swf file on the internet so I can update the animation when I am on the road or simply not at work.

Hi Stu...
I'm gonna take a stab and assume I have the answer for your query...
Create a new screen for your final table, call it final (or anything you want). You don't have to create new cells for each of the elements you want on the final table layout. Each cell can have a new property set created and defined. Under Property Groups, click New, give a name to the new property group. Make sure your new property group is highlighted then click Conditions and set Players Remaining to <11 (if your final table is 10 players). Define each one of your cells this way (the cells that need different property sets for your final table). Once that is done, click on Screen Sets on the Layout Tab and create a new screen set. click on conditions and set the players remaining to <11 (or if you are using track players mode, set tables remaining to 1) On the right pane, add the screen you have just created.
This screen will now display only when there are 10 players or less in your tournament.

Would it not be just as easy to create a hotkey for each of the sounds you want? When on the controls tab, the hotkeys work. It would be just a question of remembering which sounds are associated with each hotkey

If you have kept all the defaults when installing TD2, any templates found here (or on my website) will be in zip or rar files. Extract the folder in the archive to the templates folder. The templates folder will be in
Documents > The Tournament Director > Data
When you start TD2, on the layouts tab, load layout and browse to the folder that contains the template and load up the .tlo file.
When creating your own layouts, it is also a good idea to create a folder in your templates folder and put all files into this folder and create from there. This will make it a lot easier to zip up and export for sharing.

TD can do this, and I use this feature. Ourclub does not use antes when tourney is heads up.

The .tlo file for the NHL layout was made using v2.6 and couldnt be opened with 2.5.10.
I have recreated the layout using 2.5.10 and the scores for the teams are updated daily Nothing (other than an active internet connection) is needed.
