Help Me / Re: Formula help

I just modified the formula as per an earlier post to this
if (RoundOut>4),10 * (sqrt(n)/sqrt(r*0.1)) * (2+log(bc+0.75))
with the same results. All players get points regardless of when they are eliminated

I want to use this formula
if (ro>4),10 * (sqrt(n)/sqrt(r*0.1)) * (2+log(bc+0.75))

This should produce points for all players that are eliminated after round 4. However all players are getting points. Where is the error?

Suggestions / Re: Database Players
« on: October 13, 2012, 10:20:03 PM »
If you were able to implement a system where once the tournament is completed (Game Over) TD writes automatically to the file of each player in the tournament and would use the formula x=x+1. You wouldn't have to run anything extra from within TD. If a player is not in the DB it TD would ignore it.
An issue I can see is if I have to open a completed tournament to merge a player into the DB. TD would not write to the players file. It would have to be the moment it entered the Game Over state. If merging a player or adding a player after the tourney is completed it would use the x=x+1 for the player only.

And maybe add the date of the last tournament played to the info too

I think I posted about this before but is it possible to include a way of finding out which players in my DB have participated in tournaments? I often end up with players who reserve and don't show...ever. These names bloat the DB for no reason. I know that the db would have to load every tournament played in order to do this so I was thinking more of TD doing an x=x+1 where X is a completed tournament. When the tournament hits hte Game Over state TD would write to the notes of that player and do the x=x+1 and this could be displayed in a column on the DB tab. An option to edit this number could be included from the Edit Player option.
Thanks

Templates, Layouts and Sounds / Halloween Layout
« on: October 10, 2012, 05:33:35 PM »
Here is another layout I made for Halloween. The sounds are the same as the last one I made. Extract the Halloween2 folder into your templates folder and load both the tlo and tst (layout and events). The "com" folder must remain with the other files or the animation will not work.
I built this for a 1440 X 900 resolution.
Enjoy
Jody

Help Me / Stats Export

I haven't done stats in a while. When I exported from the StatsTab I have the Header in the table (First Name / Last Name / Points) . How do I remove these?

Help Me / Re: Events

I only have about 40 or 50 events programmed. It is the sounds template I posted here not long ago. I programmed a voice for each different level for all our rounds structures. There aren't many but curiosity got me and I was wondering.

If the Tournament is not on Auto-Save then an option to "Save Receipts In Tournament Location" (or something like that) would be accessible. If the tournament is not on Auto-Save the option would be greyed out and maybe reverted to the Default

Suggestions / Receipt folder option
« on: September 24, 2012, 09:45:48 AM »
I may be the only one who may have the use for this and if it is the case then set the request aside,
When clicking on Receipts from the Preferences Tab I have the option to set the receipts folder. I save each tournament in its own folder (Data/Saves/2012/Sept/24). Would it be possible to have a button next to the Browse button that would automatically set the Receipts folder to the folder where the current tournament is saved?
