Help Me / Windows 10 Question
« on: October 21, 2015, 10:02:39 AM »
I am running TD 3.3 on a laptop that I will have to replace in the near future.  Since all the new laptops are running Windows 10, will I run into any issues trying to run TD?? I have been using this great program for several years, and really appreciate all of the great help available in this forum.

Help Me / Are 3.2 tournaments backward compatible with 3.1??
« on: October 08, 2013, 01:14:17 PM »
Due to recent laptop crash, I loaded 3.2 on my laptop... This works great!
However, I maintain my league stats on my home desk top. When I tried to open my latest tournament (was run on 3.2 laptop) on the desk top (3.1) TD would open, but did not contain the tournament info.
Am I missing something or are the files not backward compatible?
If I load 3.2 on my desktop, will it read all of my saved 3.1 files, stats, and database?

Once again thanks for all of the outstanding support you provide,
JimG

Looking for a method to track players who enter the optional pots we use in our tournaments (Aces Cracked, High Hand, & Bounty.

Background: We run weekly tournaments with 25 to 35 players. They have the buyin plus one addon and include one of these optional pots (which rotate each week).

Suggest adding some sort of check box in the players info to show that he/she entered the optional pot.  It would also be great to have a means to display the total number of players in this optional pot on the main screen.

Once again thanks for this great product... JimG

Help Me / Question On Version 3.1.1
« on: March 17, 2012, 08:38:11 AM »
I currently have TD 3.0 patch 14 and I noticed the message about the new version 3.1.1. Is it important to make the upgrade?  Other than making a backup, are there any other precautions to take before upgrading?

Thanks

Help Me / Condition Help Needed for Event
« on: February 13, 2012, 01:30:12 PM »
I want to set a condition for an event to play a sound when any player goes out and they are not the first out, nor are they out on the bubble or in the money.  I tried several variations of the following with no luck. I use TD3, and would appreciate any help.

isround && (state=2) && (playersLeft = ((buyins - 2) && (!intheMoney+1)))

Help Me / Help - Can't Start TD3
« on: November 11, 2011, 08:40:49 AM »
I had to roll back my PC to an earlier configuration.  As a result I lost my desktop short cut to TD3.  I still have the TD3 folder, but cannot find an ".exe" file to start the program.  When I try to open an existing tournament file, it opens the beta version... which of course does not currently work.

How do I get TD3 to open???

Help Me / New User Needs Help with Sound Event
« on: June 23, 2011, 03:12:44 PM »
I am trying to add announcements for the blinds to my tournament.  I used the following code that I found in another posting:

Trigger: The clock ticks
Condition:
isRound and (smallBlind = 50) and (bigBlind = 100) and (secondsElapsed = 2) and (state = 2) and (roundNum > 1)

I linked it to the appropriate wav file and I also added a hot key.  The sound never plays automatically when the new round starts, but it will play when I hit the hot key.

I would appreciate any help...

Help Me / Need Help!
« on: May 24, 2011, 09:21:17 AM »
I am a new user and run two tournaments a week (small 15-25 players). Need help on the following issues:

1. Where do I go to set up a season for a league?  We run several 15 week leagues each year. I see the Season box on the Game tab, but don't find where I create a new season.

2. We put $5 per player into an Aces Cracked pot. Not everyone enters.  Is there a way to track the dollars in the pot, and show the winner?

Thanks in advance
JimG
