Title: Stats and tables
Post by: brunobus on September 23, 2006, 08:47:55 PM
Corey, you just never seem to stop amazing me with this software.  Everyone that comes to my tournaments are totally impressed with the capabilities and are shocked at the price.

For some reason, I seem to be the only one who keeps coming up with issues on using negative points and/or $'s. I love in the stats the income button, but when I plug in negative points or $'s, it doesn't show where those negative points come from like all of the positive #'s.  The totals on the stats page are working correctly now of course.

I like the new table layout printing option that shows the names in alphabetical order and I used it last night for my tourney.  The old layout made it difficult for people to find where they were sitting, but now people kept wondering who else at the table they were sitting with(they are never completely happy).  I don't want to have to print out two lists for every table since I have 6 tables and I usually print out one list per table.  What would be really cool is to have all the players at a certain table be highlighted or bolded or something.  I.e. you allow the option of printing the seating assignments, but then ask which table # you would like highlighted.  It would then also print that table # at the top as a header so when you set the list on each table, the players know exactly which table they are going to and can then quickly glance down the list and see the highlighted names of who is sitting at that table.

Thanks again for the software

Thanks for the kind words.  Actually, the Income Sources dialog is... well... buggy.  As a matter of fact, I can't figure out how I could have thought it was working properly before I released 2.2.  But I've fixed it for the next release, which, as almost always happens, I've finished but I found just 1 more thing I want to fix, and it turns out to be something that hits a lot of code in a lot of places, so 2.2.1 will be slightly delayed...

I'll put your printing suggestion down on the enhancement list.

Very nice Corey.  Both the fix and the added suggestion in just 2 days.  Now that's what I call customer service.
