Title: BPC Layout
Post by: BermudezPokerClub on March 10, 2008, 04:23:33 PM
Here is a layout I made for a family game we have every couple of weeks. The Tournament Director software is awesome and it really takes a game to the next level.

Any feedback on the layout is appreciated.

Update: 3-20-08
Below (reply #11) are a few pics of our last poker game and the template in "pre-game" action. I had trouble generating a .rar file through TD so i just put everyting in folders and zipped it up myself. Just save all images to your images folder and you should be ok once you load the template.

I hope you guys enjoy. If you do use the template any feedback or even just a thanks would be greatly appreciated.

Update 3-28-08

"Exported" the files using TD to make it easier to use the template

Thanks for the positive words guys.

Phaze - I actually don't drink at all but the "sissy corona" comment made me laugh out loud. Good stuff bro. Take it easy.

I am going to make a few changes and post the template this upcoming weekend. We also have a game scheduled for this weekend so I'll post pics of the template "in action".

FYI - there's an Export feature on the layout tab that will export everything the layout uses in a ZIP file - great for sharing if you want to include all the external images that make up the layout.

I have finished up a layout similar to the one I posted above. It includes custom images for; main page, welcome page, goodbye page as well as an image for seating and rankings. I also made up a 9 color matching chip set. I am going to wait for Corey to give approval to post as I used the Tournament Director name on some of the images. I can remove the name if necessary.

Any feedback on this layout is appreciated.

looks great man... I tell ya, if I was Cory I would want to add this to the layouts that come with tournament directer, minus the bermuda club writing of course. I miss the advertising logos though... they were cool, even if it was corona =)

Update: 3-22-08

<---Needs to stop fussin' about with custom TD backgrounds!

451Kid,

Would it be possible for you to export this layout using the "export" function on the layout tab?  This will export all the screens and pics automatically.  You have some great designing skills dude!

Thanks for the positive words. I attached the TD  "exported" version to the first post and removed the old zipped file. Let me know if it works out better. Take it easy.

The451kid,

Great work.  How long did it take you to complete the screen, borders, colors and what program did you use?

Once again, excellent.

Thanks for the kind words agromans. I used illustrator and photoshop and it took me a few hours to get it just how I wanted it. Although it was very time consuming it was fun to see it come together. Now that it is set up it is easy to modify the look (i.e. background). I was thinking about making some new backgrounds but not sure there is any real interest.

I would think there is an interest in layouts.  I've been reading about people looking for layouts, especially, layouts that show a final table were they can input the players names.

This is a GREAT layout!  I took the time to take yours and made my own modifications.  Below is the exported template that also contains the photoshop cs3 file.  This will make it easier for those that want to modify it.

Truly Outstanding!  I Thank You all for sharing the hard work you have done!

I plan on doing some work for a layout or two once I get the knack for it and will gladly share them.  Still new to the designing aspect but you guys give great inspiration in doing so.  Thanks Again!

Glad to hear you guys are enjoying the template. I uploaded images for a Casino Royale and Rounders template. They are both basically the same BPC layout with slight variations. Hope you enjoy.

WOW! Im really impressed! You´re doing a great job man!
I saw the layout you have on your webpage with the red and yellow where the blinds is.
Is it possible to get your layots in 1440 x 900? Especially that red and yellow version that you use om the pictures on your webpage? That would be awesome!
