Help Me / Re: Internet Explorer version 8 BETA
« on: January 31, 2009, 09:56:42 AM »
Corey,

While surfing around I found a link in regards to IE 8 that tells you how to make your web site compliant.  I think it may also apply to The Tournament Director.  Here is the link http://www.tweakvista.com/articles/39244/force-your-web-site-to-be-rendered-in-ie7-mode-in-ie8/. I hope it helps.

Hey guys,  the AppData is a hidden folder. To see it go to your Control Panel. Click on Folder Options. Click on View Tab. Scroll down to "Show hidden files and folders". Click to select that option.  Good Luck

Help Me / Countdown to New Year
« on: December 29, 2008, 07:15:23 AM »
Happy Holidays everyone.  I am hosting a New Years Eve tourney and would like to set up TD to count down to the New Year while playing the game.  Is this possible?  If so, is it possible for it to go to a countdown screen when there are say 10 seconds left and then play a sound event at midnight?  Thanks.

It's a font called Casino Queen.  I'm going to experiment with the color to see if I can get it to stand out more.

Just wondering, is there any way to center either one or two tables on the page both horizontally and vertically? ???

Help Me / Tournament Points Formula
« on: September 24, 2008, 02:24:39 PM »
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some suggestions on a points system for a new league that I am organizing.  There will be 15-20 players. Buy-in will be $20.00 with a $5.00 rake going to the main tourney. One rebuy will be allowed. We will play once a month for 9 months.  Each tourney will be T15000.  I would like to reward players that play in more games, that bust out more people and of course who place higher.  I would like to penalize players that have to rebuy.  I do want everyone to receive a minimum amount of points for buying in.  The whole idea is to reward skilled players and minimize lucky player points. My thought is to have the final points give additional chips to each player at the main game. i.e everyone will start with 15,000 chips and then receive additional chips according to how many points they have.  I've been reading everywhere and have found many point systems and formulas, just nothing that matches my needs.  Thanks for any suggestions.

p.s. A formula would be nice also. Thanks again

I cut them from another image.  I'm pretty good at layouts, not so good at creating graphics ;D

Here is a layout I created inspired by agroman's western theme.  The white buttons on the main page use transparent backgrounds. This is a great piece of software and really makes directing a tournmament easy.  Thanks Cory!
