Selecting more than one Hitman
« on: September 03, 2008, 02:29:32 AM »
Hi Guys, Have an issue when it's a spit pot and the 2 that split the pot take out a player. This happened last night and they both wanted the points for the hit.

Is there a way that only one person gets the hit or How do you select both.

Thanks

Currently the software only allows you to select 1 hitman.  If the only issue is points, just let one of the players get credit for the hit but edit the other player and adjust hit points accordingly.

In the players tab, right click on the player that you need to give the hit points to and click "edit player". You can then add the points for the hit in the "Adjust points by" box.

If you want to split the points for the hit 50/50 between the two hitmen, add half the points to the one player and for the one named as the hitman, enter a minus value of half the points.

Yes, selecting more than one hitman will be added - it's getting pretty high on the list.

I would say in holdem rules, that the points would go to the person who had more chips!!  Just my 2 cents.

I would think it would be the person with the highest hand. Again, just my two pennies (I'm from England so I don't have 2 cents).

What if both hands are the same? which has happened before. The only time we use a count chip like that is when 2 people go out at the same time and then chip count is used for who gets the higher placing.

I don't see how chip count could really relate to which hitman should get the points as how many chips wouldn't have anything to do with taking a player out.

Who made the bet that put the 3rd player all-in?  Or if the busted player made the all-in bet himself, who first called it?

So you're saying that's what it should be based on?

I'm not saying it "should" be based on anything.  I was merely presenting options.

Ok, but I think that it would good to be able to choose, 2 hitman, which you are going to do, so it's all good.
