Formula - Is this possible?
« on: October 01, 2008, 09:07:09 AM »
I really don't think that this is possible guys but this is the place to ask.

Our league has just started where we give 10 points for a win, 9 for second etc... all the way down to 1 point for 10th place. We also give 1 point per hit. My formula for this is: n+1-r+nh

It was a £25 buy in but we changed the buy in this week to attract more people. It is now £15 buy in, with 1 re-buy and 1 add-on at £10. owever they want the points for the hits to only count AFTER THE RE-BUY period.

Does anyone know if TD can calculate the points for us?

Thanks in advance guys.

Can't think of any way to do this with the formula.... you'll probably have to adjust points manually.

Just one guys opinion:

I don't think you need to change your hit points. Even if one person has busted out before the rebuy period, he is still out of the game until he rebuys.  Therefore, by the end of the night, he/she will have busted out at least twice.  So I think, whoever knocked that person out deserves the point, whether it's the first time or the last.  The person re-buying is getting another change to win the pot, so the hitman deserve the point no matter when the bust out occured.

Once again, just one guys opinion
