Title: OK, Ijust dont get it!
Post by: RichRossi on February 16, 2006, 08:13:49 PM
I just downloaded TD 2.0, and I am very impressed with the amount of detail there is.  I have set up all my tournament information and pressed the Tournament button to view my layout in operation and nothing is displayed except the cell names.  It is all static with none of my information being displayed.

I also tried loading a the provided samples and it too does not display anything other than static cell information.

I have Internet Explorer and WMP installed.

What am I doing wrong?

That's very odd.  Let's go with your "clock" cell.  What's the text listed in the HTML box?

Rich, can you perhaps take a screenshot of the Tournament page and post it here?  I'm not quite sure I understand what's going on.

To take a screen shot, just open the TD and press your Print Screen button (PrtScn on my keyboard).  If you've got TD open in window mode (not full-screen), you can press Alt+PrtScn to take a screen shot of just the window.  Open Paint (Programs/Accessories) and press Ctrl+V.  Then save it as a jpg and attach it to a reply post.

I deleted the TD and removed the directory under program file and reinstalled the program.  Same results.

In the HTML field for the clock I have: <clock>

As you will notice also, the entire screen is not visable.  When I right click and select adjust screen size, the text gets bigger, not smaller.

OK, try this.  Start the TD.  Load the sample tournament (sample.tdt).  Go to the Tournament page.  Press the Spacebar to start the tournament.  Hopefully you'll hear the gong of the clock starting.  Then press Ctrl+N to advance to the second round.  Do the screen colors change?

After you've checked this, press V while holding Ctrl and Alt and Shift.  This will open the System Information dialog.  Copy the information (there's a copy button) and post it here.

I had a similar thing happen to me.  I was using IE 7 Beta.  Backed out IE 7 and all was available to me.
