Player leavin early
« on: August 09, 2007, 04:58:35 PM »
Hey, not a bug, more an organizational problem. We're using TD for our Homegame and every now and then it happens that a Player has to leave early but still has chips (very seldom but it happens).

Normally we would wait till he's blinded out. But when someone lost earlier and is still around he would take over the chips. Now my problem is how to count the points in this situation?
The best would be to completely delete the player who left from the tournament and instead buy in the player who takes over the chips.

Is this technically possible? Any other suggestions?

undo bustout, bust out the other guy? :)
Dont think there is another way, cuz this would never happen in any official tournament, so I think youll have to do it that way...

Hey, thats a good solution, that way nobody looses hits etc.. Didn't think about the "undo bustout" function.

Is there a way to edit a finished tournament?

You can always edit a finished tournament.

Another thing you can do is to simply change "who" the player is.  If your players aren't in your database, just change the player's name.  But it sounds like they are in your database.  If that is the case, on the Players tab edit the player who left.  On the Edit Player dialog, press the "Change Player" button and simply change the player to be the player who took over.
