Title: Suggestions that would work for my Poker Room
Post by: CasinoCalgary on March 17, 2007, 12:46:48 AM
Suggestions that I have that would make the program even better would be,

1. Being able to choose the order of which tables would break in what order. And or when it is time to break a table TD2 asks which table to break. (Or control when dealing with many tables and multi rooms)

2. When TD2 breaks a table have the players in order by seat on the table that is breaking and to the table they are going to.

3. Being able to put in Mass rebuys and add-on's.

4. Multi Monitor So the Clock can always be on the full screen and on the other monitor being able to do data entry and table breaking and moving.

5. Having a place to do percent held back instead of fixed dollar amount.

6. To be able to print receipts to players buying in to the tournament. Name/Tourney Info/ Who sold it.

7. To be able to assign a (Player Number) to each player instead of having to look through a data base with more than 500 players.

Just a few idea's for us would are using this program in Poker Rooms

1 - Working on that feature right now, actually
2 - Hmm, I think you mean list the moving players by table/seat instead of alphabetically (correct me if I am wrong).  I honestly thought the Player Movement dialog allowed the data to be sorted, but it looks like it doesn't.  I'll put that down to be done.
3 - On the list to-do, not positive if that will make it this time.
4 - Worked on that feature yet again recently and made some disturbing discoveries.  Looks like I'm using Internet Explorer not exactly in the way Microsoft intended.  I'm not using it incorrectly, but it behaves in unpredictable ways when I utilize multiple windows.  Still working on a solution for this.
5 - On the to-do, hopefully will make this next release.
6 - I'll look into this, no promises.
7 - On the to-do, will make it for this next release.

The only thing that stops this clock being implemented in casino's in the UK is the absence of reciepts and duplicat reciepts, so it doesn't conform with uk gaming board.

There is a system that does this, and it costs a fortune BTW but it does involve bluetooth scanners and barcodes for each player to auto update rebuys and add-ons etc!!! But TD is far better IMO and the customer service Corey provides is second to none.

Yes when breaking a table it arranges the names by seat on the table breaking seats 1 to 10 instead by alpha by name would make it a lot faster to move the players.

We had a similar problem our System I actually started Exporting the RSVP and just used the Email Address as an ID field.  It's great news that there will be an actual ID field
