Help Me / help: Can't remember how to display program on my Big Screen.

Can anybody help.  Last tournament I ran a cable from my lap top to my T.V. and had the Tournament Director running. Everything went great.  For the life of me I can't remember the key strokes I had to make on my lap top to get it going.
I think it was one of the F keys three times followed by something.  Sound familiar?
I'm a novice with computors, any help would be appreciated.
