how do you put a full image up on your layout...i keep trying but end up with the image in sections all over the place...its been done .because on the front page its the second layout down...

you could take a screenshot of it... I press Ctrl and PrtScn then open up the windows Paint program and press Ctrl and V and save the image as a .jpg

i dont think i explained myself very well not very good at that....ive got the jpeg...i just want to use it as a background image on my layout...everytime i attempt to do this ..the jpeg ends up in sections in all the different cells...i just want the complete image as a background pic....just like corey has in the image above...

I think it looks like your trying to load your background into a cell or a coloum/row you need to load it to the main background

Step 1
Click the layout tab

Step 2
On the left there is a section called screen controls  select click "background" and a load box will appear.

Step 3
Select the desired background file, then check the box that reads Override all background colours (this will turn off all the formatting to backgrounds allowing you to see through to your background then click ok

thats it you got it......thanks for your help.....
one more question before i try...on those jpeg images you posted to help me..i notice you got a page with a load of blank colums how did you get those...is that how you make a personal layout

The blank columns are cells and they proabably aren't blank, they just run from one side of the screen to the other with the label centered and that part cut off. They also might be used to help "position" other cells properly
