Help Me / Transfer TD image to tv screen
« on: March 21, 2010, 08:33:03 AM »
Hey guys, how are ya?  It has been almost two years now and we are still using the TD and loving it.  Last month we decided to show the screen on a TV, it is larger, easier to see.  We finally figured it out and was able to see the image on the tv screen, but we had one problem.  We could not see the full TD screen.  When it was on the tv screen you could see most of the picture but not the bottom of it, so we could see current blinds but not what the next blinds would be and everything else near the bottom was not visible on the tv screen.  Is this making sense?  Is there a settings area on the tv or the computer that will fix this problem?  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Scott

Hello all!  I have not posted in a while but I have a problem that I cant figure out.  I am sure this is quite easy, I just cant get it.  I printed off the manual last year when I purchased the software so I can usually figure it out....I am stuck on this one.

My problem is, I create a new tournament and I go into my layout page and I add color to some of the text and different fonts and sizes to the text.  This shows up on round 1 but when round 2 hits they are gone.  I have a functional round 2 but it is not customized like round one is.  Round 3 comes and it is back to the screen I created, round 4 comes and back to the plain jane standard screen.  I cant figure it out, I have played with it and read the book but I am stuck.  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks, Scott.

Hey guys, my computer is on the fritz.  It is 5 or 6 years old and for the money I have now dumped into it I could have bought a new one.  My question is if I buy a new computer do I have to pay for the program again?  I just bought it 3 or 4 months ago.  Any help is appreciated.  Scott

I would like my tables to look like a real table on the seating/table page.  I think I have seen oval tables somewhere, how do I do this?

Thanks badbeat, i really appreciate you taking the time to answer that.  I have run a few mock tourneys and just when I think there are no suprises....surprise.  Anyway, it would appear I need to run some more mock tourney's.  I am glad I moved the player at the right time.  Thanks again for your help.  Scott

General Discussion / Understanding moving players
« on: February 22, 2009, 09:23:22 PM »
Hey all, how's it going?  I used the TD software at our second tournament last night and the program is great.  I do have a question in reference moving players.  I have always played with a group of friends and have never decided to get serious until this year.  We usually had 5 or 6 players and did whatever.  This year I started a leaugue and we have grown to two tables last night, supposed to have been 13 but ended up with 11 players.  We still needed the second table.  We began play and when a player was busted out of table two it wanted to move a player from table 1 in to the table two spot.  We did and from some of the less serious players (1 or 2) it pissed them off.  My question is when am I supposed to move the player or players?  When i busted out the player the TD suggested a move from table 1 to table 2 where the player had just been busted out.  I waited for them to end the hand they were playing and then had the player move.  That player moved to the new seat at table 2 and was busted out a hand or to later.  He got upset and felt that it was because of the move.  Did I move this player correctly?  Do you wait to the end of the round?  Is it appropriate to move the players when the TD suggest it?  Lets say the TD recomends two tables become one because we have lost players and we are down to eight players left at two 9 person tables.  When it moves everyone into one table does it assign a new seat position and is the blinds and button and everything taken into account?  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks, Scott.

Thanks for all of the help.  So if I close registration with 14 players and I create two tables, then I hit seat players the software will randomly seat players??
