Help Me / Re: Year End Summary

I kept trying to hit the Chops button under prizes.  I then tried to just bust the last 2 players and that gave me the chop feature.

Thanks again for the help.  I did just that for last night's game and the stats are looking correct.

One more quick question.  We had a situation where the last 2 players in our tournament had nearly identical chips and decided to chop the pot instead of play heads up, so we could start game 2 of the night.  How to a score a chop so that it records equal share of 1st and 2nd for points and prize money?  Also does the chop show as both players getting first for games won?  Sometimes we decide to chop a pot so that one person gets more money because they had more chips.  How do I display this as a chop and do I just manually change the prize winnings or does the chop settings (if one exists) give me the option to change the prize winning distribution?

Thanks again for the help.  I think the problem is that I am not saving each game as a different file.  I think if I do that the stats I am looking for will be displayed.

Help Me / Year End Summary
« on: February 22, 2013, 05:22:55 PM »
I am very new to this software and would love to be able to track the following for each year:

Busted Count List (even better would be who busts who percentage)
Total Winnings (is it possible to subtract buy-ins and buy-backs to get a gross instead of a net?)
Total Points (I have a generic point system setup)
List of first, second, third and fourth placements (for instance John Place first 3 times, second 5 times and third 7 times)

Please let me know if any of the above are possible and if so how would I do it.  I am looking at the database section and not seeing any kind of history for the players.

Thanks in advance for any assistance given.

I will give it a shot.  The past weekend was the first time that I got to use the software, so I am still feeling things out.  The guys just thought it was kind of fun to know what the average stacks were.

When the tournament start each player has 24,500 in total chip count.

When a player busts out and rebuys, he receives 24,500, but all players with chips still each receive a 5k chip bonus.

We only do this for small neighborhood games of 16 or less.  The host of the game usually decides if there's even a rebuy, but if there is, 90% of the time, that's how rebuys work for us.

The other 10% of the time, we have the rebuys set at an additional 50% rate.  For instance if the game has a $20 buyin, then rebuys in this scenario would be $30.

General Discussion / Buy-Back Option
« on: February 08, 2013, 09:55:34 PM »
At our neighborhood games we have always allowed players to Buyback in before the first break.  The Buyback is for the same amount of chips (24,500) for the same amount of cash as the Buy-In.  The catch is, that all active players get a 5,000 chip.  I haven't been figure out how to account for the additional 5,000 in chips, per player.  Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
