TD Not opening?

Tonight (dec 12) my w10 did an update. after restarting TD would not run. It would shut down with an error message about language files. I re-installed TD to no avail. I removed the first of 3 updates installed (don't recall which one (not adobe flash update)) and TD ran fine again.

I removed this update, and all working again.

It looks like Microsoft released a patch yesterday that addressed "Security updates to the Microsoft Scripting Engine and Microsoft Edge."  Looks like it's for Windows 7 and Windows 10, and likely Windows 8, Windows Server (various), and possibly Vista and even XP, if they're still shipping patches for XP.  So everyone is potentially affected.

I just need to determine why and how the TD is affected.  Sigh.  Microsoft.
