Bravo NLT pour la traduction,

J'avais commencé le travail pour la 2.4.3 mais le temps m'a manqué pour finir (aussi un peu de courage je crois!!)
C'est un travail énorme que de faire la traduction de ce soft.
si tu as besoin d'un coups de main, n'hésite pas!

Hi Corey,

Thank for the TD fix and updates.

Attached to this post my proposal of french translation of the 2.5.8 version of TD:

In the file zip, you will find a data store folder with inside some saves files in french such as preferences, tournaments, templates, rules, etc.
These files will be certainly useful for the french beginners.

I noted a small error in the lang file "messages.events.properties", the variable "Dialog.ImportSounds.Tooltip.Folder" is twice valued.

Then, here is an innocent suggestion of translation for the splashscreen in the starting up of TD:
// Initialization of variables Splashscreen.
Splashscreen.Initializing = “Initialisation…”
Splashscreen.PlzDisableScreensaver = “Don’t forget to disable your screen saver!”
// French Translation
if lang = “fr”
then display Splashscreen.Initializing  = “Initialisation…”
and display Splashscreen.PlzDisableScreensaver = “N’oubliez pas de désactiver votre économiseur d’écran!“
// Yes I know I’m a mule ;-)

Bye
NLT :-)

Bravo NLT pour la traduction,
Zut j'ai loupé ton message...
Désolé de te remercier aussi tardivement !  ;)
N'hésites pas à me faire part de tes remarques.

Thanks, NLT.  I know your efforts are appreciated.  Oddly enough, most requests for alternate languages are for French.

The problem with translating the splash page is that it is displayed immediately - before any kind of initialization is done.  There is a certain amount of initialization that has to occur in the program before the language catalogs can be loaded.  Obviously those things, if they display text, can not be translated.  I actually just recently went back through the initialization routines and removed some translated error messages, because if the error(s) were to occur, they would happen before the language catalogs are loaded...

I'll get this up as soon as I can.
