What version of TTD are you running?  Depending on the version the layout was created in, that may be culprit right there. Newer version can load older version layouts, but not the other way around (meaning it's backwards compatible, but not forward compatible).

If you send a request to me please send that you got me from here w/your TD name to confirm. Thanks!

Therein lies your problem likely, most layouts available now are created for version 3+

What kind of problems are you having?  And is there a specific layout you're trying to use?  I'm sure we can figure out the issue with some details.

Stuart's comment was right on.  That layout is for version 3.2.1, and it won't work with version 2.5.14.

A little bit more info: that layout was exported, which is a good method to use to share a layout that uses more than just a single layout file (for example, a layout that uses images).  If you were using version 3.2.1, you could go to the Layout tab and press the "Import / Export" button, then press the "Import an exported layout into your Data Store", then select the downloaded layout.  That layout contains a few files, and doing this would "unzip" those files into the correct places within your Data Store.  Then you just press the "Load" button on the Layout tab and select the appropriate layout file.

I did what is said here and I get this.......

Importing layout archive "C:\Users\Taz56\Documents\The Tournament Director 2\Jason Downloaded\Modern Metal Layout.zip".
Archive:  C:/Users/Taz56/Documents/The Tournament Director 2/Jason Downloaded/Modern Metal Layout.zip

There was an error importing the layout archive.

Suggestions?

No idea.  The link in this thread was to the layout "WSOP_FT.zip", but you're importing "Modern Metal Layout.zip".  Where is that one from?
