Random Player (Displayed in the Layout)
« on: June 14, 2018, 02:16:22 AM »
Hi Corey, TD has a function to select a random player from player screen witch "Rolls" a random name according to the criteria i can define, is it possible to display those rolling names and the "winner" in the Display screen? i award a player with an buy in here every tournament, i currently do it manually with cards on the table, but it would be nice if i could show the winner in the screen that way, with the rolling, can it be done? Thanks

i can currently drag the random player window to the second monitor, but the names are too small to be seen from the table, maybe just making the names (a lot) larger would do the trick, then i could drag them in and out from the second monitor, just like i do with the Hand Timer when i need to...

Sure, you can use the <randomPlayer> layout token.  It displays the currently chosen random player, or "none" if no player has been chosen.  There's an index attribute that allows you to display a previous random player, and a "spinningText" attribute that you can set to display something else while the random player is being chosen.
