Player Database Error
« on: June 24, 2010, 05:48:05 PM »
I was able to replicate an error stated in the Help Me thread about the script errors.  TD did allow me to continue.  What happened: I clicked on Database tab, then on "Find Player" Button. I submit the search string to get the following error, which TD tries to send via email to support. However, something doesn't like me and is not able to email it to support (IE crashes, firefox not accepting of the click via TD, but understandable since it's set to work with IE).  Either way, here's the error in its entirety below.

Object doesn't support this property or method (DatabaseTab, TournamentPage: 3775)

After clicking on OK for the error report, it took me back to the find player dialogue. Instead of entering a search string, I clicked on advance, and that allows me to find a player that method. Seems to be an issue with the "OK" button on the initial "Find Player" button

Thanks for reporting this.  I think the error only happens when you press Enter after entering a search string.  If you click the OK button with your mouse instead of pressing Enter, it should bypass the error.

Regardless, I don't see this error in beta 2 (work in progress).  I overhauled that dialog at some point between beta 1 and beta 2 and must have squashed the bug in the process.

That would be correct on my end at least - click on OK and it works, hitting enter prompts the error.  Glad to hear you've got a jump start on that error.
