Using the Bounty Chip
« on: December 03, 2008, 02:22:10 PM »
We're starting our 4th season this month and I'm planning on implementing optional bounty chips.  I'll be using the Restrict Bounties option so that only bounty participants can win bounties.  My question is, at the end of the game, where do I see who has won what bounties so I can pay out the money?  I assume TD keeps track of all this and will show me somehow who still has their own bounty chip and who (those able to win) has won others?

When someone bust out the program will ask, who is the hitman?  So click on that players name.  At the end of the tournament, if you set it up this way, you will be able to see who busted out who.  This is located in the tournament stats.

So I have to keep track of who's in the Bounty Pool manually?  Kinda makes the whole Bounty system in TD seem useless.

I think there is a way of keeping track through TD but I have never used it.  I would what to hear from Corey and see what he has to say.
Sorry I could not be more helpful.

jhisey,

Go to this link; http://thetournamentdirector.net/forums/index.php?topic=709.0
It's within TD.  This might answer your question.

On the Players tab, press the Columns button.  There are several columns there that are of interest to you:

Bounties Won
Bounty Money Won
Bounties Kept
Bounty Money Kept

You can turn these columns on/off on the Player Rankings screen as well.
