Help Me / Stats

Is it possible to have a stat for average finishing position?  Is there a way that we can make our own, or is this a "hidden" functionality?

Help Me / Re: Adding bounties after the fact
« on: August 15, 2017, 03:50:42 AM »
Ok.. I have removed the individual bounty prizes, reduced the buy in by the bounty amount, re-added the bounty chip cost to the profile and re-ticked "use bounty chips." I did get the "do you want to update for everyone who's already paid in?" And I selected yes.

The bounties aren't showing anywhere (not in the game player dialogue or anywhere else that mentions bounties) - which is where I was before adding the bounty to the buyin as per my first post.

Help Me / Adding bounties after the fact
« on: August 13, 2017, 11:07:41 AM »
Hi.  I was all set up to play last week. Prizes etc just top three get paid, no rebuys etc.

As the game started (i.e. after everyone had bought in) someone suggest we play with an additional £5 bounty for each person.  Everyone agreed.  I didn't change the software as everyone else wanted to get on with the action.

So... Now the game is over.  I've added bounties for all the players into the Prizes tab, but I'm not sure how to get the state to reflect the additional money paid for the bounties (i.e. right now, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places are lower than they should be because the TD software still thinks the original £20 buy in included the £5 bounty (whereas I need it to be £20 plus a £5 bounty). I've tried changing the main GAME screen so bounties is ticked, together with the £5 cost, but it's not reflected in the prizes.

Suggestions / Re: Form style for setting Rounds Tab

Same subject - creating a blind structure - it would be good to be able to say the big blind is twice the small blind, and not have to enter both (i.e. auto calculate the big based on the small)....

Status bit, no.  Start time, exactly what I was after.

Thanks once again.

Suggestions / Rounds Tab

It would be handy to have a "cumulative time" column so that it's easy to see what effect changing the round times have on total tournament time, easier to gauge when breaks would be best placed etc

Help Me / Re: Adjusting Chips in Play

Yeah that works.

Thanks.  Don't know if it would be worth putting something in the Adjust Chip Count  tooltip text to say "this will update the token on next screen refresh" or something? I don't think any further "digging in" is necessary.

One thing though - looks like the chip count and blinds tokens don't update straight away. I had to move to the next blind level and then the various tokens updated...

Right.

I had written a long long reply but I've just seen the "adjust chip count by" option on the GAME tab.

So that's cool - I can buy someone in, blind them out, undo their buyin if they don't turn up by level 3, and then just add the blinds they've paid into that field.

Cool.

Related issue:

If a player has confirmed attendance but isn't there at the start, they will get a stack which gets blinded down. If they haven't turned up by the end of level 2, they're disqualified and their remaining chips are taken out of play.

The tokens for average stack, total chips and average/total blinds are all driven by the initial buy-in (i.e. if you change the current stack size for a player in the players tab, this doesn't change the figure shown in the token).

So: other than by cancelling two buyins and recreating another which would take into account the absent players remaining chips, is there a more elegant solution (so that the tourney screen info is correct?)

That's exactly what's required. Thanks!

I suppose it boils down to this: how can I set up the main tournament display so that I can click on something (I figured a tdbutton token) and get to the main settings window? i.e. need to do be able to navigate between the two just using a mouse.

I thought the two different screen tdbutton tokens would do it, but maybe the settings window isn't filled as a screen?

Help Me / A TDbutton to "esc" to the settings screen?
« on: May 17, 2017, 03:06:36 PM »
Hi.  I'm looking at using a wireless mouse only, no keyboard (I'll use the mouse on the poker table so I don't have to get up).

Is there any way I can add a button that fulfils a specific button function {such as each}?  I don't seem to be able to get the Screen or screenbyname tokens to work with the main settings screen...

Suggestions / EVENTS info

Show details about each specific event in the event tab, so that you don't have to go in to each one to see what it's doing.

ETA: forgot this - a way of sorting  events would be handy.
