Then I hit this while trying to restore a back-up. Clicking Browse

Yep, someone just sent me this one a few days ago.  Sorry about that, not sure how I didn't catch it.  I will definitely fix it for the next release.  In the meantime, you can restore a backup by using any ZIP utility (7-zip is a decent, free one), and unzipping the backup file to the appropriate place (your current Data Store).
