I wish someone could find and post the "you lose" horn sound from the Price is Right.  Bum-bum-ba-dum.... waaaaaaaahhh.  That's a great loser sound...

Here you go!

Suggestions / Re: Prize breakdown problem I ran into the other night.

I think I know what happened...

The percentage prizes are not for the total pot.  They are for the total pot - any fixed amount prizes.  When you added the fixed prize, you reduced the dollar amount of all of the percentage prizes.  When you reduced the percentages on the first and second place price, you messed it up even more.  There are a couple of easy ways to add a prize in your scenario...

1.  Just add a fixed amount prize.  All of the dollar amounts on your percentage prizes will adjust accordingly.
2.  If you know how many percentage points you are removing from the 1st and 2nd place prizes, just create a 7th place price with the percentage that you are removing.  Just make sure that all of the percentages add up to 100%.
3.  If you know how much you want your prizes to be, just have them all be fixed amount prizes.

I have that.

That's pretty much exactly what I was looking for.  Thank you very much for posting it!

Could you tell me where I could d/l some of the others?

I'm sure that some of you have seen this site before, but here is Clay's TD Sounds.  There are some good ones in there.

Help Me / Copying a tournament from one PC to another
« on: March 07, 2006, 08:21:45 AM »
I am planning on doing the design work on my tournament, including screens, sounds and images, on my home desktop and then taking my tournament with me on my laptop to my friend's house.  Should I just copy the entire folder from my desktop where it is installed or can I get away with copying a few files (like the saved tournaments and database)?

Any suggestions would be helpful!

Thanks.

I am looking for some sound files that I can put into my tournament.

I'm hoping to find a person's voice saying "one minute remaining" or something to that effect.

Can anyone help me out?
