starting a new tourney
« on: August 08, 2010, 03:16:21 PM »
I have a league set up. We have had one game so far. I have a blinds template saved. Now, I am trying to get things set up for game #2 but when I load the blind template I keep ending up with game #1's info (ie, who placed where etc)

How do I load up a new game with new seating?

I use this method in my club...
Create a tournament template with all your settings (blinds, layouts etc...). Use this to start your tournament. When you start a new tournament, the first thing you will want to do is click the Save As button on the game tab then give it an original name (I save it as the date). This will leave your template untouched.
With the tournament settings you already have, you can Save As, give it a different name, then directly below the Save As button, click on Reset and reset all players buy-ins etc. Then Save As again and use an original name (i.e. 'template'). Use this when starting and follow the above instructions.

Or if you goto the blinds tab, click on load template, and then find the file that you saved it as.

If you send a request to me please send that you got me from here w/your TD name to confirm. Thanks!

load the old tourney, click on blinds tab, then click Save Template, save it and then load that blind structure each time you want to use it.
