Help Me / Re: Transfer TD image to tv screen
« on: March 26, 2010, 12:51:56 PM »
Just to clarify on what Jodey is saying:

Make sure your resolution setting on the PREFERENCES tab - EXTENDED DISPLAY is equal to or less than the resolution setting of the extended display card. Once you enter the same setting as windows you can click MOVE TO EXTENDED DISPLAY
To access your extended display settings for windows right click on the desktop then go to Personalise-Display Settings then click on the second display, the current resolution setting will be below this with a scroll bar that can be moved up and down to change the video resolution.

this is only true for vista or above xp is totally different

It is NOT just windows 7. I am running TD on a system originally Vista, upgraded to 7 pro, and I have only had one minor issue with it, and that was because I was doing something wrong....

Sure, it's your opinion that it's Win7, but I assure you it's not Win7 in of itself, there's other issues going on with it.

yeah i have 7 and its a very good os but as said before i also have problems with 7 and vnc and dont have any problems with xp on the exact same pc so its a security issue on 7

ha ha - thats crazy!

Mind you I think Corey is heavily underpriced for what he has now.  Thats why I intend on buying a new licence on a regular basis!

I've already got two and have been using the software for about 14 months.  Or I might think about going for a commercial licence as I probably am stretching the personal licence(s) now anyway.

Regards
Stuart

Agreed lol

may i ad the was spelling the program out i was like td has that td has that td has that td has that only thing that's different is the Pda (£1100 each btw) and the membership cards and cash game stuff so its not a superior program from what he explained

but he did say he will or can get me a go of the program in any casino that is using it so i can see what its like lol wonder if they would leave me alone for half an hour with the system lol

This would keep the reg fee totally separate from the actual buy-in and for example would not count reg fees in profit/loss calculations of prize money.

This is actually a very good point.  I'll have to consider this.

I would think some users would only want to count money towards the pot (not including "registration fees") in their profit/loss statistics, and that others would want to include it all (since technically the player puts up the registration money as well as the buy-in).

i think this would work for my situation as well so +1 vote

Okay so I contacted Stanley Group and London Clubs and both were quite happy to inform me that the software used is CardRoom MAGIC, by a company in England.  Can anyone get a hold of the sound files from this software? Mabey someone knows someone who works in a cardroom that works for any of the UK Casinos (Grosvenor, Gala, LCI, Genting etc) that could copy the sound files of the cardroom computer?

Have you had any luck with this yet ?

i would of asked badger at the river boat but they don't use anything like this they only use pen paper etc

will ask him if the rotunda or mint use this program would be interested my self in some professional sounds

thanks

Not too sure, but odds are, the sounds for that program are most likely copyrighted along with the program itself, much like TD with Corey. I'm sure, though, that if you were to contact the company and explain what you're looking to do, they may work with you some, but I wouldn't bank on it.

I understand what your saying but if you change the pitch/tone slightly there is not much they can do
anyway the chances are we wont get the files so no hopes

unless i can get my hands on the actual program its self witch I dought
