Title: Changes Screen backround for odd/even

i know its possible to change backround images for the cells based on odd/even , but it would be great and so much easier to make a great layout using the screen backround image and having the ability to change it based on odd/even

You can.  You just have to create more than one screen in order to do so.

Create your screen, once it is done, create a copy if it.  Set different backgrounds for the two screens.

Now create two screen sets, and use the Conditions of the screen sets to show one of the sets on even rounds, one on odd rounds.  Then add the 1st screen to one of the screen sets, and the other screen to the other screen set.

Corey,

Is it normal for the odd and even background images to not change IF the the screen is locked? 

The background images will only change if the screen is unlocked for my test.

Correct.  The screen lock does exactly as its name implies: it locks the screen rotation on the current screen.
