Help Me / Poker league - points... help plz

Hi... I am old TD user but havent been using it for a while...

Now i want to start new league and I need some help...

I am familiour with basic stuff but when i got to awarding pts i am not sure where to put the formula...  (at game tab? or where?)
Also i am not sure how to make formula for calculating pts, but i have a system which i would like to use... It would be based on number of players...

if its between 6 and 20 players ->
1. 12% prize pool / 100
2. 10% pp / 100
3. 8% pp/100
etc
4.
5.

if its between 21 and 25 players ->
1. 12 pp /100
etc
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

if its between.... etc...

I am sure if someone writes mi guidelines i would be able to write whole formula by myself...

Help Me / Background color on exported HTML

I am exporting every tourney and stats in HTML and print them out for easy showing on game night. Every time I export them default color is blue but since its new season i wanted to change it..

Is there any other way besides manually changing code in HTML document?

New one is... i have played 50 tournaments, which formula to use to create overall scoring which will use only best 40 results?

General Discussion / Which poker site would you recommend?

I started playing online poker 7-8 months ago and I allways played at bwin.com (i registered there cause i like to bet on sports and stuff)...
All that time i played with only one deposit of 20€, at first playin with 1$ tours and then getting to 10$ tours... But few bad beats on that level ruined my bankroll... Actually, i think that really big rake at bwin is reason i couldnt profit in long run (1+0,3 $ tournaments)

Now, since i have to start from 0, I decided to try another poker site... But which would you say is the best?

I am looking for
- tournaments and SnG that have long blinds, 10 or 15 minutes... I dont wanna play 3 or 6 minute blinds...
- minimum rake
- most rewarding system with point for playing (bwin had like for every 5$ tournament you get 2,5 pts... and you need to collect 300 pts in one month to get 30$ bonus... yeah right...)
- many players
- stimulating first deposit bonus
- etc...


When i was just startin to play poker I played at pokerstars, and i remember that their table really looks lame... And i dont remember tournament structure since back then i played only cash limit holdem...

Templates, Layouts and Sounds / Layout tutorial

Is there some kind of documentation or tutorial of how to make layout?

Those few TD has by default look really cheap, and makes TD somehow much underestimated...  So, I want to make my own layout but I dont have a clue where to start... I figured out how to modify default one, but thats it...

Suggestions / TD mistake when exporting tournament in HTML?

Cant say I am sure, but I think TD makes a mistake... so my suggestion would be to fix it (if it is so)

Thats my tournament, you can notice there were some rebuys.. Still on top, where tournament details are shown, you ll see it says "no rebuys, no add ons"...


am i right?

Suggestions / Stats tab - some suggestions

You have a filter in stats tab that allows me to filter players, leagues and seasons... but not actual tournaments... what if I wanna see stats only for some particular tournaments? In my case I wanna export monthly stats for every month this year, but since i ve added some tournaments (that we played before TD) "manually" in last few days I cant use selection by date... (this could be also fixed if there was an option to change date&time of tournament, is there?)

Also, i would like to suggest adding option to select the default column for stats to be sorted by. (for example by pts, score or total take, who looks at stats sorted by name?)
I know thats just 2 click with a mouse, but it would make TD even better.

Help Me / Can I edit details of finished tournament?

Uf... this pissed me of... but I relaxed hoping corey might help....

We just played a tournament, which I am host of... You know how that is, running arround, making sure everyone has something to drink, adjusting laptop&tv etc...
Still, i do my best through tournament to follow every hand and react with TD accordingly...  Just half an hour ago we finished a tournament, and at the end I am splitting pot to the winners and I realize there is extra 20$ in the pot...

And then somebody said that in first few minutes a player took rebuy and they just continued playin without informing me... The same player was busted out 2nd time few minutes later so he finished last...

So, now I have a situation where I need to add one more rebuy to the last player, (I even know who busted him out)... Is there a way to do this? Or the only thing to do is to simply "re-play" whole tournament?...

This is ss when you go stats - refresh tourneys - info...

I am adding some old tourneys and i was happy to see them sorted the way i wanted, but when i got to tourneys PN 8-2 it wasnt sorted like before anymore
Maybe the reason was cause i originally named it PN 08-2 (instead of 8-2) but even after i renamed it it still isnt sorted the way it was before (8-2 is infront of 8-1)...

The reason i started using 08-2 (insted of 8-2) was cause i noticed that list of events in players stats page are sorted strictly by name :

Help Me / Bounty?

I noticed there are "bounties" in TD... Also i saw a template with rules "20$to buy in and 3 $ for bounties"... 

I ve looked at dictionary so i know what the word mean, but still dont know what to do with it... What is it used for? Cant relate it with anything in poker...

Brief explanation plz...

Help Me / Few questions...

1. Before i found and started using TD we wrote down all results and i was making statistic in the excel document. Now I want to enter all those results and create those tournaments in TD...  But when i create them i get date from today, can i enter my own date?
Also, I make all players, except last 3, as 4th since i wrote only top3... Also, that simulated tourney is only 1 or 2 minutes long... will that affect something? Some stats or w/e

2. Last time we played with TD i asked my friend to help me bust player, but busted the wrong one, so now tourney is over and winner has 2nd position, and runnerup 1st position... can this be fixed? (EDIT:I figured this one out)

3. When looking at the stats, is it possible to filter out players that didnt played at least  X% of all games? or at least 10 games... something like that...

There are many things i dont understand and I spend alot of time reading forums and help section in TD... But i lost my patience, so, plz, tell me, how are points calculated by default?

with time i ll have more Qs concerning this topic, but for now, i ll be happy if somebody answers me on this one above...

General Discussion / TD vs another software

Hi, I am a new one here but i ve been using TD trial for last 2-3 weeks now...

My friends and I have been running a home tourney for a while now and I just recently found out there are softwares like this on internet. Never before had crossed my mind something like this exists... Well, I dled it, and i can say I like it. Its everything i need for a tourney, so i decided something like this is worth 20-30 $... (if it was free i would donate for sure)...

So, I decided to by a software, but not yet decided will it be TD. Even though I like I dont want to find out I could get something better for same or less money. I am sure noone here will tell me why to buy something else, but I am hoping you ll tell me why to buy TD and not something else...

After short googling i found some Dr.Neau Tournament manager, is TD better and why? Any experience with any other similar software?
