Another Bounty Questionins
« on: March 12, 2006, 10:15:47 AM »
We do not use bounty chips, but instead we assign the first place finisher from the last tournament as the bounty and he retains his buy-in in the hopes of winning again or someone wins his /her bounty by knocking them out. We had a tournament last night and the person knocking out the bounty player is receiving the money on the stats page but it is not being tallied in the bounty column. Tried using manual setting on prize page, but is still not being recognized. Will this program keep up with this since we are not using the bounty chip buy-in.

Thanks for any assistance with this.

We run ours the same way.  Instead of using the bounty chips fields from the game screen, just add a prize in the prizes screen, select set amount, put in the $$, and select bounty on player then pull down the menu on the right to select the player's name.  This adds the prize and tracks the money as going to whover you later tell TD busted out that player.  Note, you have to add the prize after you have "bought In" the target playe into the tournament.

Another note on this:
If you are taking the money for the bounty from another source than the prize pool from this tournament, you need to either add that money in on the game tab, or (easier) just put $XX in the nonmonetary prize field instead of listing it as money.  Otherwise the percentages on your prizes will be calculated on the prize pool minus the bounties instead of the whole ammount.
