Will do... Uploading to box.com since it's 245 MB, and will send the link to you when complete.  In the meantime, I'll try another backup, and see if that one restores or not.

Link sent.

Got it.  The backup contains 130+ MB of images and 140+ MB of audio files.  So there's the reason for the huge size.  If you don't include images or audio, it drops to a modest 8 MB.

I created a new Data Store and restored the backup successfully.  No problems.  66 players in the database.  12 seasons.  1 league.

I don't know why it failed for you.  Is it possible there is not enough disk space?  It's possible the unzip action fails if a file it is trying to write (over) is in use.  Basically, any error would cause the TD to display this message.

Not sure if this is a big problem for everyone, but on a 4k monitor the checkboxes get rather small.

That's great information.  I don't have a 4k display, so it's very interesting to see.

Checkboxes are one thing controlled entirely by IE.  As far as I know, there's really no [practical] way to control their size.  They don't change with font size.  Their size can be changed with the HTML zoom attribute, but that's a hack at best.  I'm really curious about the setup for your high resolution display.  How do checkboxes appear on websites?  Do you have IE (or whatever browser you use) configured in some way to make sites in general more readable on that high resolution?  My assumption would be that checkboxes are also small on websites, but you could have zoom (not the same as the "zoom" attribute) in IE turned up, or font size increased in Windows, or something else entirely making things appear more "normal".

It's not a really big problem for me, i only use 4k displays at home when testing and trying new setups for our tournaments, but more and more places get 4k displays now days so there might become a problem real soon.
There are a lot of programs that is not suitable for 4k displays, the setting in windows  to make text and icons bigger don't work in all programs. https://www.dropbox.com/s/uf7umzcamvnw9l2/Sk%C3%A4rmklipp%202015-07-05%2011.06.24.png?dl=0 (sorry ui in Swedish)
I found a webpage with some checkboxes and here is some screenshots from:

IE (ver 11.0.9600.17842) https://www.dropbox.com/s/pmyr07jgitklphl/Sk%C3%A4rmklipp%202015-07-05%2011.11.35.png?dl=0

Chrome (ver 43.0.2357.130 my default browser) https://www.dropbox.com/s/665di9np9but9tc/Sk%C3%A4rmklipp%202015-07-05%2011.13.02.png?dl=0

As you can see in the IE screenshot, the program "irFanView" i use to crop my screenshots have really small icons and text, so they do not scale from windows settings.
Webbrowsers do handle scaling much better as you can see here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zdv7e2ulnzzav1e/Sk%C3%A4rmklipp%202015-07-05%2011.27.14.png?dl=0

Only thing I noticed is on my layout I use <currentTime> and it will only show 24hr time, it is set to use 12hr in the token options, was working fine before the upgrade. From other posts this is opposite to what people were seeing. Am I missing something? The 24hr option in preferences is NOT checked.

Great responses everyone.  Thank you!

So far, this may be the best beta release ever (crosses fingers).  As of now I have no automated error reports, and other than the <currenttime> issue (which has a workaround), there's been nothing else reported.  Wow!

Seitz333: the <currenttime> layout token, in 3.4.b1, displays by default in 24-hour mode.  Previously it would display based on the "Use 24-hour clock" preference.  In 3.4.b1 it simply defaults to 24-hour mode.  You can work around this issue by specifying 12-hour mode in the layout token, like this: <currentTime format="12-hour">.  It will be fixed (work like it used to) in the next beta version.  So change it, or hang tight until the next beta.  Either way thanks for the info!

mcfrojd: Thank you for the information.  I've updated the application to also adjust the size of checkboxes and radio inputs.  Example:

I definitely like it better this way.  I noticed the resolution is different than in your screenshots.  I hope the changes translate well.  We should know when I release the next beta.  Unfortunately at this time I haven't made many functional changes.  I'd like to get at least a bit of new functionality in before the next beta, but we'll see...

Thanks everyone for the help!  Please continue to report anything you find - good or bad!

mcfrojd, nice to see that you use my Swedish translation. I hope you are satisfied.   ;)
A new translation of TTD V3.4 will soon be published on the website. I have sent it to Corey.
I have not just translated all the changes, but also all tokens in the layout properties.
It was a huge job.   ;D

Corey, I have now tested this beta in several poker games, and I find no bugs at all. Very well done!
And the absolute best news was the ability to change font size.

Kind regards,

Hey Corey, I am specifying 12-hour mode in the layout token, and it will still only displays 24-hour mode.

Sorry, I got it wrong.  The function that computes the time allows specifying of 12-hour versus 24-hour, but if not specified goes by the preference.  I accidentally deleted a line in the code that translates the format attribute in the layout token to the appropriate specification.  Thus, any value specified for the format attribute means "24-hour" while no value means "use the preference".  So you can't specify 12-hour in 3.4.b1.

Short answer: omit the format attribute and set your preference to 12-hour to get a 12-hour time of day clock.  Specify the format attribute OR set your preference to 24-hour to get a 24-hour time of day clock.

I just figured out a workaround:

format="any text": displays 24-hour clock
format="": displays 12-hour clock
omit the format attribute: displays format based on your preference

So I guess the appropriate response is, if it doesn't fit, try another size.  If there are other issue(s) with that, please let me know.

Fair enough!  I had the resolution set to 720p in order to make the settings window (displayed on a TV) more readable from 10 feet away... didn't occur to me to change the layout & resolution back to 1080p before increasing the font size.  (duh)  Thanks Corey, and I really do like the new window font size settings...

FYI, I'm addressing this for the next beta.  I'll try to hit as many dialogs as possible, but the change will make the dialog sizing take the screen size into account, and, if possible, reduce the size of the dialog to fit.

Thanks, Corey!  So far so good on this beta though... Haven't run into any issues yet.

In layout, the toolbox gets a lot out on the right, and hard to see.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/2cmj8vt3icskhp8/Sk%C3%A4rmklipp%202015-07-22%2023.34.29.png?dl=0

in v3.2 beta 3
- Made Toolbox on Layout tab resizable

I think this doesent work anymore

You are absolutely right.  I'll fix it.
