If you wish to use the Tournament Director software for commercial (or revenue generating) events you must purchase a commercial license. A commercial license is necessary for any of the following situations:

• When the license is being purchased by or for a business, commercial entity, association, organization, club, or other non-person entity
• When the license will be installed on a computer owned by a business, commercial entity, association, organization, club, or other non-person entity*
• When the license will be used by a business, commercial entity, association, organization, club, or other non-person entity
• When the software will be used, directly or indirectly, to generate revenue (* this does not refer to money paid out from the pot of a tournament; this refers to money "raked" from a tournament, or other fees collected from participants)

Further questions to ask yourself. If the answer to any of the following is "yes", you need a commercial license:

• Are you charging players to enter the tournament (beyond money that is contributed to the pot)?
• Does any part of your buy-in fee NOT go into the pot or into a future pot? (a league pot or a season ending tournament pot are examples of future pots)
• Do you require players to be a member of a club for which membership fees or dues are required?
• Are you using the software (or poker in general) to bring patrons to your business, commercial entity, association, organization, club, or other non-person entity?

Using a personal license when a commercial license is required is a violation of the licensing terms of the software, and a violation of US and international copyright law, and is subject to fines and penalties.

You will be taken to the Tournament Director license order page at PayPal or Google Checkout (depending on which payment method you choose). After completing the transaction, you will be returned to the Tournament Director website with some additional information regarding your order.

Please note that you are purchasing a license to use the software, which is delivered via email. The software is not sold on any physical media.

Your Tournament Director license will be delivered via email to the address you provide. Obviously, an incorrect email address will impede the delivery of your license.

Please note: If you place your order using Google Checkout, you may choose to keep your email address confidential. However, I will not be able to reference your order in the future by email address if you choose to keep your email address confidential.

Most licenses are delivered the same day, usually within a few hours. This is not an automated system, however, and sometimes it may take longer to process your order. If necessary, delivery can sometimes be expedited. If you are in need of a faster delivery, email sales@thetournamentdirector.net. Not every order can be expedited. Please only request if absolutely necessary.
